FORTUNA — The Fortuna City Council’s Sept. 21 agenda puts two notable items on deck: second reading and adoption of Ordinance 2026-788, which would add Chapter 5.30 to the Fortuna Municipal Code to regulate massage establishments, and approval of Amendments No. 5 and No. 6 to the engineering services agreement with Jacobs for the wastewater treatment plant NPDES compliance project.
The agenda, posted for the council’s regular meeting at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 621 11th Street, also includes a consent calendar with routine business such as minutes, departmental monthly reports, a report of disbursements, an investment-policy resolution, file-destruction authorizations and revisions to the Community Development/Public Works organizational chart and pay-rate schedule.
Because the document is only an agenda, it shows proposed council action but not the outcome of any vote. Meeting minutes or a post-meeting action report would be needed to confirm whether the ordinance and contract amendments were approved.
