Humboldt County supervisors are scheduled to hold a public hearing Tuesday on revoking 16 planning permits over unpaid department fees, according to the Aug. 25 Board of Supervisors agenda.
The agenda lists draft resolutions for permits including PLN-10508-CUP, PLN-10509-CUP, PLN-10951-SP, PLN-11171-SP, PLN-11211-ZCC, PLN-11260-CUP, PLN-11273-SP, PLN-11796-ZCC, PLN-12160-ZCC, PLN-12269-CUP, PLN-12310-CUP, PLN-12510-ZCC, PLN-12761-ZCC, PLN-12804-SP, PLN-13006-SP and PLN-13056-SP. The summary packet says the board would be asked to adopt 16 resolutions finding the permits were exercised contrary to their terms and revoking them under county code.
The agenda does not say how much is owed on each permit or whether any of the delinquencies were cured after the packet was posted. It is also not clear from the agenda whether county staff is recommending revocation in every case or whether any of the permits could be continued or modified at the hearing.
The permit hearing is one item on a packed agenda that also includes a long consent calendar, a proposed $566,321 sheriff budget supplement tied to the county’s Prop 64 program, appointments to the Behavioral Health Board and several closed-session matters, including possible real-property purchase talks in Eureka.
