Sutter County’s Public Works/Support Services Committee agenda for May 28, 2026, packages several infrastructure and compliance items for consideration, including roadway evaluation, accessibility work, flood mapping consulting and mitigation tied to a bridge replacement project.
The agenda calls for advertising a request for proposals for a countywide paved-road evaluation, with the finished data formatted for direct use in Street Saver pavement management software. It also proposes awarding the FY2025-26 ADA Curb Ramp Project to FBD Vanguard Construction, Inc. for $29,594, with change orders capped at $5,000 under Public Contract Code Section 20142.
Another item would approve an independent consultant agreement with R&F Engineering for hydraulic modeling and topographic maps for the Robbins, Meridian and Nicolaus basins as part of FEMA remapping work. The agreement would total up to $60,981 through April 30, 2027, and the county would waive the usual RFP requirement under County Ordinance 16-060.
The agenda also includes a proposed $82,767 mitigation-credit agreement with The Natomas Basin Conservancy for 0.87 acres of Giant Garter Snake habitat tied to the Sanders Road (Live Oak Canal) Bridge at Larkin Road Replacement project.
The committee agenda also lists adoption of plans and specifications for the Trowbridge Yard Rehabilitation Project ahead of bid solicitation. The agenda identifies the meeting as starting at 8:30 a.m. at 1160 Civic Center Blvd., Suite A in Yuba City.
