WHEATLAND — The City Council’s Feb. 10 meeting minutes say the Wheatland Aquatic Center funding item will return on a future agenda with a resolution concerning the return of donation funds.

The minutes do not identify the donor, the amount involved or the legal basis for the proposed return. They also do not include the promised resolution, only note that the item will come back for council consideration.

The aquatic center item appeared on the council’s regular calendar, and the agenda packet referenced a feasibility study and an agreement involving David Creps as supporting material for the discussion. In the minutes, Chris Walsh said the item would return with a resolution addressing the donation funds.

The February meeting minutes otherwise show the council taking action on several routine items, including consent-calendar approvals and policy updates, but they leave the aquatic center funding question unresolved for now.

The Feb. 10 agenda packet and minutes are available on the city’s meeting portal and minutes PDF. The agenda packet is here.
