The Yuba City Unified Governing Board is scheduled to consider three new STEM Capstone course proposals at its Oct. 13 meeting: Engineering Design, Games and Simulation, and Systems Programming.
The proposals appear under the action portion of the district’s meeting agenda as new courses for the 2026-27 school year. The agenda does not say whether the board will approve, reject or defer any of the proposals.
The meeting is scheduled to begin with closed session at 6 p.m. and open session at 7 p.m. in the Board Room at 425 Plumas Blvd., Suite 200, Yuba City. The agenda also provides a link to the district’s YouTube livestream.
The available agenda does not identify which campuses would offer the courses or provide expected enrollment, staffing, prerequisites, course materials or projected costs. Those details, along with the board’s decisions, would need to be confirmed through the course-proposal attachments, meeting minutes or video.
