The Sutter County Board of Supervisors has scheduled public hearings Sept. 29 on a proposed recording surcharge, countywide accessory-dwelling-unit rules and a warehouse project in Pleasant Grove, according to the board’s agenda.
The board will consider a resolution establishing an additional $10 recording fee effective Feb. 1, 2027. The agenda says the fee would fund a mandatory recorder-notification program required under Senate Bill 255.
Another hearing covers Project U26-0020, countywide amendments to the Sutter County Zoning Code and the Sutter Pointe Specific Plan Land Use and Development Code related to development of accessory dwelling units in the county’s unincorporated area. The agenda calls for introduction and adoption of an ordinance and identifies the project as exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
The board also will consider Project U26-0012, an administrative permit for a minor amendment to a previously approved development plan and design review for a new 130,219-square-foot warehouse and associated site improvements on a 10-acre parcel at 7234 Pacific Ave. The agenda places the site on the east side of Pacific Avenue, about 0.4 miles south of Sankey Road, and identifies the project as CEQA-exempt. PDC Norcal LLC is listed as the applicant and Holt of California as the owner.
The agenda does not include testimony, board deliberations or outcomes from the hearings. It also does not provide a projected revenue estimate for the recording fee or details about potential traffic or site changes tied to the warehouse amendment.
