Sutter County’s Health and Welfare Committee is set to consider a $211,711 increase to the county’s fiscal 2025-26 In-Home Supportive Services budget to meet the county’s maintenance-of-effort base requirement.
According to the April 21 committee agenda, the adjustment would increase appropriations in Other Charges and be offset by 1991 Realignment revenue and cancellation of fund balance. The item requires a 4/5 vote.
The agenda identifies the action as an adjustment to the adopted IHSS budget, with the budget reference listed as CC5201 and the transaction noted as pending.
The committee meeting is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. April 21 at 1160 Civic Center Blvd., Suite A in Yuba City. The agenda also includes several other Health and Human Services items, including a child welfare system improvement plan, a language services contract amendment and two Habitat for Humanity-related agreements.
The agenda summary does not show whether the committee or the full board ultimately approved the IHSS item.
