Sutter County supervisors tabled a proposed three-year strategic grant consulting agreement worth up to $225,000 with the California Counties Foundation at their Aug. 11 meeting, delaying any spending decision until the item can be reviewed further.
According to the meeting minutes, Deputy County Administrator Jamme Yang presented the agreement, which would have provided strategic grant consulting services. Supervisor Dan Flores moved to table the item for further research, and the board voted unanimously to do so.
The minutes do not say what specific concerns prompted the delay, or whether staff will return with a revised proposal. The item was one of several actions and presentations handled at the Aug. 11 meeting in Yuba City, including consent items, budget adjustments and reports on county programs and services.
