Yuba County supervisors have approved a memorandum of understanding with the City of Wheatland and the Olivehurst Public Utility District that allows the county to loan up to $10 million for the South County Infrastructure Project.
The board took the action Tuesday, April 28, during its regular meeting in Marysville, according to the meeting summary. County Administrator Kevin Mallen briefed supervisors on the project, and the item drew comments from Bill Zenoni, Mark Birtha and Teri Daly before Supervisor Gary Bradford offered additional information.
The board approved the agreement unanimously. The meeting summary does not spell out the repayment structure, project budget or timing of disbursements.
The financing action was one of several items the board approved that day, including budget adjustments, a fee ordinance update and assessment district resolutions.
